So it has taken me a little while to get things started...apologies!
I have to tell you about the fantastic savings I had at Sainsbury's today. Today they started a 25% off sale across their whole TU clothing range. I'm not normally a huge fan of Sainsbury's clothing range for children I have to say, but today I managed to spend around £40 on things for my 2 year old. He loves Thomas the Tank so when I spotted a lovely pair of Thomas all in one pyjama's in there last week I decided to hold off until the sale started this week. I managed to bag these today for £7.50 instead of £10.00...and that's all I intended on buying. Tavis (My DS) has recently developed a fascination with Spiderman so I couldn't turn down the fluffy Spiderman dressing down they had there today - with the sale on, the dressing gown was under £10! I've tried it on him and we even had a quick trip to Nannies house wearing it and I'm so pleased with the quality of it. It kept him perfectly warm and it is so fluffy we can't stop touching it!

Next was the Spiderman wellies. Being a typical boy, Tavis loves wellies and I fell in love with these wellies straight away. I think comic book stuff is quite funky and these wellies had a cool comic book design all over - his face also lit up when he seen these and they were ofcourse also worn to Nannies house.

I've been a bit stuck as to what costume to get for Tavis for halloween and so was quite pleased to find out that the 25% off sale also stretched across the Halloween costume range too. However, what I spotted didn't quite fit into your typical idea for Halloween. As you can probably guess I came across a Spiderman costume. I got him a size bigger than I usually would because I would want him to wear some clothes underneath as the material isn't very thick. I'm so glad I did because he couldn't have got away with a smaller size - and he isn't a particularly large child. What I was pleased about was that it was better quality than the normal superhero costumes you get - good padding on the muscles and good stitching quality. The costume even came with a mask which I wasn't overly bothered about because I can't even get Tavis to wear a hat...now I can't get him to take it off!

All in all I think this sale offers fantastic value for money. I was only on my lunch break at work so didn't have a chance to shop the full range but I'm looking forward to going back to the store to find even more bargains. What made this shopping trip even better was that apparently I could have got my shopping £1.50 cheaper at Asda, so now I have a £1.50 off voucher for the next time I shop in store - double bargain!

My First Ever Blog!

Ok, so I've never really done anything like this before and I don't really know where to begin. I've started this blog as a sort of therapy for myself. I love to shop, and I love a bargain, I mean what girl doesn't?! So I hope to be able to give you some product reviews on this blog and will aim to update you on any particularly good bargain I may come across. I mean, again, what girl doesn't love a good bargain? I'll probably ramble on about my diet journey (And probably the numerous times I depart from the path of a smaller waist), my life in general, juggling being a first time mum to a wonderful little boy and working full time.

I hope you all enjoy reading.
